Rural Writers of Color Fiction Anthology EastOver Press is accepting short stories for a forthcoming anthology. The anthology will focus exclusively on BIPOC writers who live in or hail from rural or semi-rural locales (in the United States) and whose short stories feature characters living and/or working in rural or semi-rural spaces. Submissions should be no more than 25 pages or 7500 words and may include up to three submissions per author or five submissions per editor of a literary journal. They are only accepting previously published stories at this time, and those stories should have been published in 2020 or 2021. Payment: $100-$300.
Fantasy Magazine publishes fantasy short stories, flash fiction, and poetry. They plan to stay open to submissions by BIPOC authors for the entirety of 2022. Payment: 8 cents per word; $40 per poem.

Unnerving accepts FLASH FICTION story submissions of horror and suspense. Generally leaning toward horror. Payment: $15 for a flash story of 400 - 1,500 words. Reprints accepted. Unnerving also publishes books. Novellas/novels 25,000 words and up. Collections 45,000 to 85,000 words. 50/50 net sales split. (Note: The website says magazine submissions are both open and closed.)
The Anarchist Poetry Project. Genre: Poem Length: 3 poems up to 5 pages total. "The theme of the book is Building Better Worlds. We’re interested in what those better Anarchist worlds and systems look like. Poems that somehow relate to that theme within the context of anarchism will have a better chance of being accepted. In particular, we love speculative literature (scifi, fantasy, hopepunk and other -punk subgenres, magical realism, etc). But even if your poem doesn’t fall into such genres, we still want you to submit it as long as you identify as an anarchist, and your poems are in some way about or related to anarchism and building better worlds." Mystery Magazine (CANADA) presents original short stories by the world’s best-known and emerging mystery writers.
